Description: Modern Parables is an original DVD-based Bible study designed for people who like movies. It is the first in a series that combines cinema and theology in short dramatic films explaining Jesus’ parables. Viewers will grasp the parables at an immediate, gut level enabling them to engage the Bible in a powerful and compelling new way. Each parable is broken into two sessions. The first session includes an engaging and modern-day retelling of the parable; the second session includes a pastor speaking about how to apply the parable to our lives today. Each session is 13-minutes in length and includes leaders guide.

"Good resource. Very dramatic. We averaged 10 each Sunday and combined the parable drama with the clergy remarks to make it a 6 week study with adequate time for discussion each week."
