Credo is a new confirmation program produced by United Methodist Communications. While the program can be used in churches of any size, the kit includes a special book to help Confirmation Directors in small churches implement the program. There is also a multimedia CD-ROM toolkit, a Confirmation Journal, and a Confirmation Guide for Parents, Mentors and Adult Leaders. The DVD contains 18 short discussion segments on Creation, Sin, Redemption, Holy Spirit, Church, New Creation, Way of Discipleship, Way of Salvation, Welseyan Quadrilateral, Worship, Sacraments, Living a Holy Life,"Renounce, Reject, Repent", Accept, Confess, I believe (The Creeds) "Prayers, Presence, Gifts, Service, and Witness" and Going Forth. These 18 sessions comprise the core principles which are: Know Your Story, Confirm Your Faith, and Live Your Commitment. |
