Description: |
Many Muslims and Americans feel that there is a great divide between Islam and America. They feel that the two can not be reconciled and that Muslims can never live in peace with America. This film aims to dispel such myths. It starts by highlighting the fact that Muslims were already present in the "New World" prior to the arrival of Europeans in America and it ends in a post 9-11 America where some are still questioning their identity and others are defining their identity as American Muslims.
There is a study guide from the ELCA Ecumenical and Inter-Religious Relations group that assists Christians in understanding and discussing this film series. |
